The Pioneers group was formed 4 years ago as a means of nurturing a number of adults with learning difficulties who are part of our Corps family but we hope to extend this to include adults from other churches or the community.
It is a Bible based group. We meet on a Saturday morning from 11-12 noon in our hall at Sturrock Street,  but we are open from 10.30 am for tea or  coffee since some of our members travel from outwith Kilmarnock . Our planning group prepare a block of lessons (a series) with a central theme which is then presented over a few weeks. We are due to start Block (series) 17 the first Saturday in March (2/3/19) and this will continue to Easter Saturday 20th April.
During each meeting we sing, pray, play musical instruments, listen to a Bible story, complete craft work and use drama all related to the theme and relevant and appropriate to the people attending.
If anyone requires more information, Salvation Army Officers Les and Emma Heal, or Margaret Keachie This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. will be only too pleased to respond.
